SUCCESS STORY OF MOHIT KUMAR

Mohit Kumar

Stenographer at

(Ministry of Science & Technology)

Hello everyone, My name is Mohit Kumar, I belong to a middle-class family lives in a Village named Jagatpur in Delhi. Originally we belong to Vill. Masota Uttar Pradesh. My father Mr.  Mahkar Singh failed in 12th standard and left home and moved to Delhi for good career possibilities. He sold his NCC shoes and bought a railway ticket to move to Delhi. His hard work is remarkable, by keep learning while earning was his key to success. Now he is Foreman in Delhi Jal Board, even though in hard times my father works in double shift for our (family)’s better well-being.

So, my journey started after getting motivation from my father’s hard work. Since childhood I was a bright student, I often understood things in a quick manner and I always scored good marks and participated in extracurricular activities. I love singing (since my throat is not made for it) and cricket which I love the most. During my Secondary school days due to high involvement in Cricket I failed in 1st Semester of academics. As my teachers knew about me so they motivated me towards studies. After the guidance of my teacher I scored a decent score. Then my father asked me to prepare for polytechnic entrance which I cleared and got Admission in Delhi Govt. Clg. I opted for Electronics and Communication Engineering Stream where I became a barsaati medhak (studies when exam comes) and cleared my Polytechnic Diploma with 82 per cent even I topped in final semester exams.

Then I decided to prepare for Govt. Job exams as I wanted to stay with my family. My all friends, except one, decided to get enrolled in B.Tech. After getting my diploma I had taken admission in NIOS for Senior Secondary (12th) and passed with decent score (70 per cent) within two weeks of preparation. A common friend from my Diploma days played a major role in my career. On a social media post he quoted “top maarne se kuch nahi hota example bhati (my sub caste)” which pinched me and I decided to prove myself. After getting advice from my father’s friend I joined Stenography Institute in Mukharjee Nagar by Manish Kumar who is really a hard working man and mentor in making my future bright. I cleared written (Computer Based Test) in a single hit with just 2 months preparation without any coaching class.

Besides my stenography classes Rakesh Nautiyal Sir’s YouTube channel Likho Steno Academy also helped me which further sharpened my shorthand skills and I cleared the steno exam SSC STENO-2018 in my very first attempt. As I cleared for Grade C and D both, I preferred D to get posted in Delhi. My Dada (grand father) often said to my Father that one day your son will become an Officer and right now I’m on a way to it and with the help of my Lord Raam ji, parents, and gurus I will definitely get it. Now, I am posted in Ministry of Science and Technology as Stenographer ‘D’ (DoPT CSSS).

Thank you everyone for your kind attention to my Success Story, and my mantra to get success is “Be pumped and be motivated”.

Hope next Success Story here will be yours.
