The result of Stenographer Grade C & D examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission was declared lately. Candidates, after getting selected for various departments, were waiting for their joining. Many departments like DoPT, MEA, AFHQ, IB, etc. have already started joining process. The candidates selected for joining in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) were waiting for this since long. Their wait is over now as CBIC has asked for State preference through their Steno-I Options Calling form.
Many candidates desire to be posted in their home town or their home state. But, departments like DoPT, MEA, AFHQ, Railway, Election Commission generally give posting in Delhi only. CBIC has many offices across the country that's why candidates have option to choose from states/cities who have given vacancies.

Fill your preferred Cadre Controlling Authority and Code of Cadre Controlling Authority properly so as to avoid any mistake.
Candidates need to send their preference form in the desired proforma given by the department latest by 31.03.2021.
Below are the list of documents need to be attached with email.
1. Self-attested copy of Admit Card issued by SSC (given at the time of examination, any, if not latest)
2. Self-attested copy of ID Proof such as Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID.
Don not attach anything else. Don't send email if you are in doubt. Option form is very easy. Don't make any mistake.
No preference form will be accepted sent by Post or By hand. Only way to send preference form is email.
Please Note: Candidates will not have any right to protest against their selected preference, if not given. The process will purely be on rank as per result.
