Hello sir and my fellow students
With much happiness I share with you that I have been selected stenographer (Grade D) in Ministry of Defence in SSC Steno Exam 2018.
I would first like to thank my family for their continued support and also my girlfriend Diksha who was there with me through thick and thin.
My journey to success was full of ups and downs..as like most of us face. After completing graduation I was not sure how to shape my career from there on. I started preparing for SSC and Bank exams simultaneously but couldn't clear any. The main hindrance in my path was me not being that good at quant and no sincere dedication which these exams demand. One day my dad asked me to give stenographer exam a try. At first I wondered what did this term "stenographer" means but sooner I got to know all about it.
Without wasting anymore time I started taking classes for shorthand but left the coaching after sometime due to some reasons. After that I completed the remaining shorthand theory on my own, improved my weak areas for CBT and in a span of 5 months, I was done with the shorthand concepts. The next step was attaining speed for which I browsed the youtube for speed classes and Rakesh sir's video caught my eye. After that I started writing dictations given by Rakesh sir and was able to attain a decent speed of 100 wpm with much accuracy. The best thing is that you get dictation at three different speeds in one video only which increased my speed in very less time.
Likho Steno Academy channel helped me at every stage. The guidance of Rakesh sir..be it how to prepare for written test..how to increase your speed..be it how to fill the preference form and last but not the least..his amazing dictations helped me immensely in clearing the skill test of both Grade C and D in first attempt only.
