Hello Sir,
This is Chanakya, I got selected in CBIC Grade C.
Sir, in 2017, I first heard of Stenographer in SSC website (result of 2016 announced). At that time, I thought of trying for it but I had no guidance, no coaching for shorthand nearby (I am from Telangana). I just bought a book named Pitman shorthand - pearson publications. And I read it by myself. It took me 3 months to complete and remember that book without any guidance. After that I tried writing at 80 wpm directly by keeping a YouTube video but I am unable to do it. I had neither friends nor relatives who know shorthand. I wasted my time in searching Google for about 2-3 months to learn shorthand but of no avail.
Later One fine day I tried in YouTube, you had just started and made videos of how to improve speed and Accuracy, and most importantly KC dictations (I even don't know about them) I had followed all your suggestions and practiced a lot. But unfortunately I got failed in 2017 skill test with 9% errors in 100 wpm and 14% errors in 80 wpm (passage was very tough in 80 wpm).
Then I had filed an RTI and thoroughly checked my copy and found many mistakes as said by SSC. I had opened your video again and listened to it at least 5 times and noted all of your suggestions and Mistakes I had committed in Skill test. Then for 2018, I had followed them all religiously and I used to practice every day for about 6-7 hours only for shorthand.
Due to your guidance, dictations and your timely videos I was able to pass 100 wpm Skill test this time and I got CBIC Grade C.
I had entirely depended on you Sir. Thanks for your Great Patience, Punctuality in uploading videos, Honesty in guiding students and you had done all every thing for free. I am very much indebted to you Sir.
