The National Board of Examination (NBE) has invited applications for various posts under their recruitment notice published by its Recruitment Cell. In this Blog we will get to know all information about NBE Stenographer Exam 2020.

  • Last date of closing of Registration was 31.07.2020
Name of Post - Stenographer
Group - C
Level - 02
Age - Below 27 Years

Qualification:- 
a) Senior Secondary Certificate (12th Class pass) or equivalent from recognized Board/University.

b) Shorthand Dictation speed of 80 word per minute and Typing Speed of 30 words per minute.

c) Candidates will require to appear in the test in General English/Shorthand & Typing to be conducted by the Board. 

Desirable 
Two years experience as Steno in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Body and ability of work processing on Computer.

Vacancies
UR - 05, SC - 01, ST - 00, OBC - 02 

Place of Posting: New Delhi but the employee can be posted anywhere in India any time, if required.

Selection procedure:-
There will be two stages of this examination.

1st stage is online written examination which will be conducted by TCS on 31.08.2020. 

And the 2nd stage is Shorthand/Typing Skill Test to be conducted on 20.09.2020.

Syllabus:-
General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 questions 50 marks)
General Awareness (50 questions 50 marks)
English Language and Comprehension (50 questions 50 marks)
Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions 50 marks)

Negative Marking:-
There is clarification from the Board's side whether there will be negative marking or not for each wrong answer so candidate needs to verify it from the examiner and attempt questions accordingly.
