BHANU PARTAP
Stenographer at
(Department of Food & Public Distribution, Government of India)
Respected Sir,
I am very grateful to you for your help during my
preparation. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to share the story of my
hard work and your guidance of the last 2 years. After declaration of result of
first stage of "SSC Stenographer Exam 2017", I was shortlisted
for the Second stage and the guidance I received from you was extremely
helpful. So, today I am going to share my journey from qualifying Prelims to
Joining "Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Department of Food & Public
Distribution, Government of India".
The
day was 12th September 2017 when I got the result of Pre-Exam "SSC
Stenographer Exam 2017". At that time I was learning Shorthand
without proper guidance. But I was focused with the aim to qualify the Skill
Test. I started searching for guidance on Internet (Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
Eventually, I joined a group named "Likho Steno Academy" on
Facebook. For the first few days I scrolled the group just to know the views of
the people about shorthand and then I started watching about how and what to
practice and then on YouTube I listened to your views on shorthand learning and
I started practicing.
On your YouTube Channel I got videos at 80wpm,
100wpm, 110wpm and so on. And I started practicing regularly from those videos.
As the exam was approaching, you had advised a new technique i.e. videos about
half an hour which contained same matter with 80, 100 & 110 wpm speed. This
indeed helps a lot to a student who is preparing for Grade C. When you practice
a matter at different speeds i.e. 80, 100 & 110wpm then it becomes very
easy to read it and find errors. But I know how difficult it is to record a
video of about half an hour as I myself had recorded videos of about 15-20
minutes.
I am always
grateful to you for clearing all my doubts. You always reply to my messages
sent personally or in comment section. With God's grace and help of Rakesh
Nautiyal Sir, I cleared both Grade C & D Skill test in 2017 but couldn't
make it to the final merit of Grade C because of limited number of seats (49)
but I got selected in Grade D. After cracking Skill test, I used to ask
questions regarding preference form and joining formalities in which you have
always been there to help me.
I cleared Grade C
in SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Exam 2018 and hopefully get joining in
Grade C this time. I'll always be grateful to your Sir.
At the end I'll say!
"I have done it now its your turn"
