Time for some suggestions

1.    If you have time and not working anywhere, pvt. or govt., and you can study 4 subjects then go for SSC CGL otherwise you can go for SSC Stenographer which has 3 subjects, however, you'll have to learn shorthand which is also time consuming and requires daily at least 2 hours.

2.    If you want a job where you can use your own brain on files then go for SSC CGL.

3.    If you want a job where you don't use much of your brain in files but in arranging office related work then go for SSC Stenographer.

4.    If you want a job where you are not directly attached to a BOSS then go for SSC CGL otherwise go for SSC Stenographer where you'll always be under a BOSS.

5.    If you are Good at mathematics and English then go for SSC CGL and if you are not good at either Mathematics or English then go for SSC Stenographer because in this you'll have to focus more on English only.

6.    If your age is about to cross the required age limit within 1 year then go for SSC Stenographer otherwise you can choose SSC CGL.

I hope now you have a clear picture in your mind as to which direction you should go in this journey of preparation for Government Job.
