Question 1
(a)    Sir, right now my speed is 80 wpm and I am preparing for written exam. I am confused that whether I should concentrate on writing exam or practice of speed. And also guide me sir that how to manage both of them and how to increase my speed .
(b)    My speed is 100 wpm right now, its getting difficult to perfect 110 wpm. Could u provide any tips on this? And shall I maintain a notebook for difficult words as I keep forgetting them?
(c)    Sir maine steno ka book complete kar liya hai speed ke liye kailash chandra magine hai usese practice kaise kare aur starting kitne ki speed se karna hai?

Answer
If you want to simultaneously prepare for both then you need to divide your day in two parts. One for Shorthand and the other is for Written Examination. It is very important to write at least one matter a day to keep in touch with Shorthand otherwise you'll have to face problems when you qualify written examination. I had already shared my views on this question in Part 01, however, you may watch the video shown below for ways to increase shorthand speed. I don't recommend making a separate notebook for difficult words because it is very time consuming process. I recommend you practice difficult words on your shorthand notepad only because you will encounter difficult words on daily basis. After you finish basics you should start from Kailash Chandra Volume 01 and in the video given below I have shared the process to practice, follow it.

Question 2
Sir I score 70-75 marks in English (Written) how to increase my marks upto 90+? Kindly guide me.

Answer
If you want to score 90+ marks in English Section of SSC Stenographer Exam then you need to focus more on Grammar Portion because this section is scoring. I have shared a video on this topic where I have given subject wise information as to how you can prepare and score high. you may watch the video shown below for better results.

Question 3
Sir I start doing 2nd magazine of KC. But i have a doubt that how is it possible in exam that I can easily translate shorthand into English. I used to think that some of the words are same. And other bigger words are out of imagination also. Please tell me sir.

Answer
This is a common question among students who have just started doing magazines. You don't need to worry about it. It is common with everyone. Once you finish at least 6-8 magazines thoroughly you will get familiar with almost all words which are important and repetitive in nature. However, there are a lot of new words which can put you in difficulty but with continuous practice and sound knowledge of Shorthand Rules you will not find difficulty in those too. All you need to read as much as you can what you write. Reading will lead you to gain high accuracy. Sometimes there are words which are really out of the box. I suggest everyone to skip those words.

Question 4
Sir, Kailash Chandra magazine se dictation lete time accha liktha hu lekin editorial dictation me thora dikkat ata he kyse practice karu?

Answer
It happens because the level of these two is different. Kailash Chandra has parliamentary debates which are way easier than any other matter available. Editorials are based on daily events and it has many new words with high level vocabulary. I recommend practice daily at least one editorial for 3-4 months and read each one. You'll see difference in your preparation. The only way to practice is write it, read it, find mistakes, practice those words and repeat the whole process till you get 100 per cent accuracy.

Question 5
Sir skill test ka liya kalish chandra ya progressive konsi best hai?

Answer
For any Skill Test no one can say any specific study material is enough. I recommend doing all kinds of matters, however, finish at least 8-10 volumes of Kailash Chandra before moving to any other material. I have never done progressive so can't give its review but I recommend KC.

Question 6
Sir aap bas ye bta do homework kaise krte h means practice kaise krni h bas ye poochna hai?

Answer
There are different ways of practice, however, you should find out the best way for you. A teacher can only guide you as to how you should practice but its pattern will be yours. I recommend do only 1 dictation a day. Write(copy) it for 5 times from magazine and taken its dictation according to your speed. Find out the mistakes and practice those words. This process you need to follow till you are comfortable with the speed you are writing.

Question 7
Sir mera pitman shorthand book ka basic complete ho gya hai toh main dictation start kr skta hoon?

Answer
Yes, you can start taking dictations but remember don't jump at 80wpm in the beginning because you will definitely find difficulty in writing at 80wpm. You should start writing at 70wpm in the beginning. Many teachers or batch-mates will guide you to start with 60wpm but I recommend to start with 70wpm because if you want to come out of the mob, you will have to do it differently. Start your preparation with full confidence.

Answer
Every aspirant wants to get final result of the exam as soon as possible because of the hard-work put in. However, the whole exam process is very boring and takes at least 2 years to get completed. It has been observed that sometimes it takes more than 2 years but there are several arrangements which a commission needs to do for completion of an exam and those arrangements take time.
